Love your bike month - October 2011

October 2011 was 'Love your bike' month in Shropshire!

Our second 'love your bike' month took place in October 2011. It included a whole range of free cycling events and activities in Shrewsbury, Ludlow and Oswestry to help you to love your bike.

Highlights of the month included:

Over 300 new members all of whom receive a free set of bike lights in addition to the great membership pack.
Launch of a new leaflet for the Lady Halton Loop in Ludlow with a ride of the route and free Dr Bike session.
Cycle skills and information at the new Oswestry leisure centre opening.
Love your bike day at the Shrewsbury football stadium with bmx demo, cycle skillls and bicycle polo.
A series of successful activities in schools in all three towns.
