Extra women on wheels ride from Wellington

Shrewsbury railway station

4th September, 2010 - 12:00 to 16:00

near-betton-strange On Saturday 4 September we will take our bikes on the Wrexham and Shropshire train to Wellington, leaving Shrewsbury at 12.07pm, and cycle back to Shrewsbury along National Cycle Route 81.

The ride is about 15 miles, the same distance we usually do on the Sunday rides, and we should be back in Shrewsbury by about 4pm.

~~It's free to take bicycles on the train but have to be booked in advance as we are a large group. Please let us know if you would like to join this ride by Friday 27 August.~~

Numbers are limited to 12 for this ride but if more people are interested we can arrange another date in future.

All you need is a roadworthy bike, plus a drink and a snack which can be carried in a rucksack or pannier bags (don't hang anything form the handlebars).
