Q. Does Shropshire Council support the Government's tax free cycle purchase scheme?

A. Shropshire Council does not currently offer its employees the tax free cycle purchase scheme but is hoping to introduce the scheme in the near future. If you are employed by Shropshire Council and are interested in participating in the scheme please contact Neal Challinor on 01743 255436 or email cycle.shrewsbury@shropshire.gov.uk

If you are an employer and you are considering offering a cycle purchase scheme, Cycle Shrewsbury can offer advice, contact us using our online form for workplaces. You can find out more about the scheme on the cycle purchase scheme website.

Q. I am organising an event, please will you advertise it on your website?

A. If your event is based in or around Shrewsbury and is related to cycling, you can add it to the Cycle Shrewsbury diary by completing our add your event online form.

If you are organising a cycling event for charity which is not based in Shrewsbury, email the details to cycle.shrewsbury@shropshire.gov.uk and we will add it to our charity rides page.

If you are organising a cycle event in Shropshire outside of Shrewsbury email the details to cycle.shrewsbury@shropshire.gov.uk and we will add it to the Shropshire Cycling website.
