Minor improvements

In addition to large infrastructure schemes, Cycle Shrewsbury will be implementing minor improvements across the town to fill missing links in the cycle network and make it easuer for people to cycle.

At September 2009 Cycle Shrewsbury has made the following minor improvements:

Corinthian Drive to Robertson Way - new surfaced walking and cycling route, completed March 2009
Sundorne Secondary School - new access path and gate to cycle shelter, completed March 2009
Cycle monitoring - thirteen sites around town – automatic cycle counters installed March 2009
Nine schools – improvements to cycle (and scooter) parking, completed March 2009
Sutton Road zebra crossing – completed March 2009
Surfacing of footbridge between Cartmel Drive and Whitchurch Road – completed August 2009
Surfacing work on path between Cartmel Drive and Whitchurch Road - Phase 1 completed August 2009
